Coaching

Coaching for leaders who want to lead on purpose.

Leading well is hard, and most leaders rarely get a place to think out loud with someone who has no agenda other than their growth. That’s what coaching with me is.

Every engagement starts with a conversation. We talk about what you want to change, and then I’ll recommend the length that fits.

Packages

Three ways to work together

You’ll be coached by someone who has led at the executive level, not just studied it.

3 months

For one clear goal, a transition, or a specific challenge you want to work through. We set the goal together, you complete one assessment, and we use our sessions to make steady progress on it.

  • One assessment
  • Email support between sessions
  • Verbal 360 available as an add-on

Rhythm: weekly (60 min) or every other week (90 min), your choice.

6 months

For developing a new capability or changing a habit that takes time to stick. We review progress against your goals at the midpoint.

  • One assessment
  • Verbal 360 included
  • Midpoint progress review
  • Email support between sessions

Recommended rhythm: weekly (60 min) to start, then every other week (90 min).
Your pace, your call. We’ll set it together.

12 months

For leaders who want to work on how they lead over a full year, including through the ups and downs that come with it.

  • One assessment
  • Verbal 360 included, at the start
  • Progress reviews partway through and near the end
  • Email support between sessions

Recommended rhythm: weekly (60 min) to start, then every other week (90 min).
Your pace, your call. We’ll set it together.

Your rhythm

Every engagement is client-driven.

I’ll recommend a rhythm, and we’ll adjust it as your needs change, subject to scheduling and availability.

Weekly sessions run 60 minutes and work well when things are moving fast, such as a new role or a tight timeline. Every-other-week sessions run 90 minutes and leave more time between sessions to try things out and notice what happens.

What’s included

The pieces of every engagement

One-on-one coaching sessions

The heart of every engagement. You bring what’s on your mind, and I ask questions, offer observations, and, when it helps, challenge your current thinking, so you can find your path forward. Each session ends with you deciding what action you’d like to commit to before we meet again.

An assessment

A structured look at your personality or leadership style, chosen to fit your goals. We use it as a starting point for conversation, not a label.

Email support between sessions

For quick questions or a check-in before a difficult conversation. It supports our sessions and doesn’t replace them.

For organizations

Sponsoring a leader’s coaching

Schedule a call if you’d like to talk through a specific person or situation.

The coaching conversations are confidential. Session content and assessment results stay with the person being coached. What the organization receives is structure.

Every engagement begins with a conversation among you, the leader, and me to agree on goals, and ends with a final check-in on progress. For 6 and 12 month engagements, we also check in partway through. The leader takes part in each one.

Questions people ask

Frequently asked questions

Does it matter who pays?

No. The coaching itself is the same whether you’re paying personally or your employer is. The only difference is that a company sponsor takes part in goal-setting and progress check-ins.

What stays confidential?

What we discuss in sessions, your assessment results, and the feedback from your 360 stay between you and me. The exceptions are legal requirements and situations involving a serious risk of harm.

How do I choose between weekly and every other week?

Weekly suits a fast-moving situation. Every other week suits someone who wants more time between sessions to put things into practice. You can adjust your rhythm during the engagement as your needs change, subject to scheduling and availability. If you’re unsure, we’ll sort it out on our first call.

What does a session look like?

You bring what’s on your mind, and I ask questions, offer observations, and, when it helps, challenge your current thinking, so you can find your path forward. Each session ends with you deciding what action you’d like to commit to before we meet again.

What is a verbal 360?

It’s a set of short conversations I have with people who work with you, such as your manager, peers, and direct reports. I ask what’s working and what could be better, then summarize the themes for you. Individual comments are not attributed, and the results are yours alone. It tends to surface things a written survey misses. It’s included in 6 and 12 month engagements and available as an add-on for 3 months.

Do you coach in person or virtually?

Both. We’ll pick what works best for you on our first call.
